What a lovely celebration of flowering and feasting! In our ‘hood we’re seeing very few bees yet. Still too cold? The karo tree in our back garden is covered in sweet smelling flowers but so far I’ve only seen one bumble bee visiting. How is it up your way?
Thanks Pam. The karo are flowering out here too. Have seen several bees visiting, but not as many as on the purple lavenders and hebes, and plenty on the kōwhai and other blossoms.
